Konami's president doesn't think AI is going to change gaming that much.

In Konami's latest annual report, Konami Digital Entertainment president Hideki Hayakawa wrote that game engines and player-made content already made it easy to start making games, so AI "won't bring a significant change" to the market. Even if AI speeds up production, he said, the most important part of great games is still people and creators, because the "chemical reaction" of a team trading ideas "is not something that can be easily replaced."
