Sam Altman's World wants to put a "Human Badge" on your bank's video calls.

World launched World ID for banking and finance at Money20/20 in Las Vegas, a set of tools meant to prove a real person is behind transfers, trades, account requests and Zoom calls. To get the badge, the photo taken when you verified at a World Orb, a live selfie and your video feed all have to match. World didn't name any banks using it yet; Bain Capital, Pantera Capital and VanEck Funds are early design partners.
